Mira Women’s Health was founded in 2024 by board-certified obstetrician-gynecologists Dr. Kenneth Konsker and Dr. Emily Woodbury, who had grown concerned by the increasing influence of private equity and corporate priorities in healthcare. Mira was their vision for a return to the fundamentals of patient-centered medicine: a boutique, physician-owned OB/GYN practice serving women throughout South Florida by providing world-class, personalized women’s healthcare in a welcoming and supportive environment where patients truly come first—not just in principle, but in practice every day.
The name “Mira” reflects concepts of wonder, vision, strength, and peace across languages and cultures—values that guide our approach to care. We believe every woman deserves compassionate, individualized medicine and a trusted relationship with her healthcare team.
